Sit down in a chair with a relaxed posture. Your hands are on your knees and your head is facing straight ahead. Remove your glasses or contacts. Your eyes are open. Adjust the distance of a pencil or your finger under the tip of your nose so that it is at the closest distance where you can see it clearly without any blur. In addition, find a point in the distance which you can also see clearly. Focus on the pencil or finger tip. This is the starting position. Shift your focus so that you are now looking at the point in the distance. Your head does not move, only your eyes. Maintain a relaxed posture with your hands on your knees. Breathe normally. Return to the starting position. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
